Bauxite Mining Service
A rock mainly comprising minerals that are hydrous is aluminum oxides. These minerals are gibbsite, boehmite, and diaspore. Bauxite is a weathering product of aluminous rock that results from intense leaching in tropical and subtropical areas, a process called laterization. Bauxite deposits are generally found on plateaus in stable areas where they had sufficient geologic time to form and were protected from erosion. Bauxite is the primary ore of aluminum. The two types of bauxites that are used commercially as aluminum ores are laterite and karst. Lateritic bauxites constitute more than three-fourths of the world`s bauxite resources. The processing of these bauxites is done at a number of alumina refineries in the world. Watsol bauxites can be processed at a low-temperature autoclave digestion (145 C to 155 C). Watsol s in-house R&D Centre and Q&A laboratories conduct Chemical, Mineralogical and Metallurgical evaluation of the Bauxite to ensure consistency and meet stringent specifications as desired by the customers. We have strong dedicated team of professionals working round the clock with sophisticated laboratories/facilities to meet the International Standard for Quality, Management & Environment Management System in Mining, Processing, Logistics and Export. High quality Watsol Bauxite is successfully used for metallurgical grade alumina production besides applications in the cement industry, alumina chemical, steel, alum, energy industries, flame-retardants etc.AluminiumCementChemicalBlast FurnacesIron/Steel LadlesTorpedo CarsElectric Arc furnacesTundishesSoaking PitsReheat/Soaking PitsOpen Hearth
