Primary Amines
Methylamine: This is a fundamental building block in organic synthesis. Fatty Amines
Stearylamine: This long-chain amine is used as an anti-caking and flotation agent in mineral processing. It is also a precursor for cationic surfactants used in disinfectants, fungicides, and hair care products. Other uses include corrosion inhibitors in steam systems and asphalt emulsifiers.
Oleylamine: As a surfactant, oleylamine is crucial in the synthesis of nanoparticles, where it functions as a solvent and a stabilizing agent to prevent particle aggregation. It is also used in pesticides and fungicides, and as a component in lubricants, adhesives, and coatings.
Tallow Amine: This is a mixture of fatty amines derived from animal fat. Its primary uses are as a flotation agent in mining, a pigment dispersant, and a corrosion inhibitor. It also serves as an ingredient in the production of textile softeners, emulsifiers, and anti-static agents.
