Backbone Enterprises Ltd was established in 1991 by three efficient, prominent, and experienced professionals, as a Partnership Firm. The company was converted into a Public Limited Company in July 2002 (without any change in the structure of the company) in order to grow faster in these competitive Infrastructure Industry.

The Company is registered in Gujarat-India under the Companies Act 1956. Engaged in the ?Service to the Nation? since last Two decades, through Infrastructure Development, Pioneers in construction of superior quality National and State Highways, Bituminous Roads [Flexible Pavement] Road-Bridges, Canal and Buildings [Residential and Commercial] and other affiliated Civil Engineering products.
Company is having expertise in construction of Bituminous Roads, Concrete Roads & Bridges, Canal, & Building works (Residential & Commercial).

During these years, the Company has established their name and fame. It has served Central and State Governments through National Highways Authority of India, Public Works Department, National Building Construction Corporation Limited, National Project Construction Corporation Limited, Gujarat Urban Development Corporation Limited, Gujarat Housing Development Board, and Dams & Irrigation Department for development of the Nation.

Now the Company is competent enough to meet the demands of international arena. The Company is executing various projects financed by World Bank and Asian Development Bank. The Company has spread their work force to various other states (apart from Gujarat) such as Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Orissa, Karnataka, etc.
