Mode Of Action

Zoomer is a non-selective, contact and systemic herbicide with foliar and soil activity.
It  has broad spectrum activity on grasses, sedges & broad leaved weeds. It can be used as post emergence application on non-crop, Orchard and plantation crops. It combines two active ingredients with two different modes of action: It acts by inhibiting the function of EPSP synthase enzyme (EPSPS), which is important in the biosynthesis of aromatic amino acids, thus resulting in phytotoxicity and eventual death of weeds.
It also acts by inhibiting the action of proto porphyrinogen oxidase (PPO ase) enzyme, resulting in quick peroxidation of lipids and thus leading to cell membrane disruption and kill of the plant. Zoomer is effective on monocot, dicot, annual and perennial weeds. It shows quicker action on tough-to-control weeds. It also provides longer duration of weeds control.
