Mode Of Action

Imazethapyr and Imazamox belongs to the chemical group Imidazolinone.
Acts by inhibiting acetolactatesynthase ALS (acetohydroxyacid synthase AHAS).
This enzyme is important in protein synthesis within the plant.
This leads to the disruption of the DNA synthesis and cell growth.

Application Method

To be applied when weeds are in 2 - 3 leaf stage along with surfactant (Cyspread) 1.5 ml/L of water and Ammonium Sulfate 2.0 g/L of water.
Spray the herbicide using a knapsack sprayer fitted with flat fan nozzle.
Apply the herbicide in sufficient quantity of water to ensure thorough coverage of the weed foliage.
