It is a systemic insecticide, which means that it is absorbed by the plant and distributed throughout the vascular system, protecting it from pests that feed on various plant sections, even those that are not directly sprayed. Monocrotophos, an extremely potent organophosphate insecticide, is used in the formulation of Phoskill Insecticide. As an acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitor, monocrotophos prevents insects from transmitting nerve impulses, which causes paralysis and eventual death. Phoskill Insecticide is available as a liquid solution that is diluted with water and sprayed onto crops as a foliar spray. It's crucial to strictly adhere to the label instructions.
