Anju Narain pays tribute to her roots with a designer outfits soaked in the rich culture and tradition of Lucknow, a city in which she has lived for almost 25 years since her marriage.
Born and brought up in Mysore, a town also rich in the ancient culture of India also reflects on her design sensibilities which incorporates the traditional Chikankari, Zardozi and Mukaish into modern silhouettes.
Art and designs had always been a childhood passion for designer Anju Narain and the Myra studio was a natural progression of her keen sense of style. Anju, a page 3 regular herself has always stood out for her and discerning style, impeccable taste in fashion and her creations are an extension of her being.
Ever since she was invited to design the saree round for the finalists of UP femina Miss India in 2011 there has been no looking back for her.
Anju also has a deep spiritual connect, which led her to become a teacher of the Art of Living, a NGO committed to bring smiles to the faces of the people in the world.
