The Main Parts of Centrifuges are Bearing & Shaft, Basket, Drive & Brake.
BEARING & SHAFT
The Bearing used are heavy duty to withstand vibratory load and centrifugal forces. The bearing housing is made of Cast Steel duly machined to close tolerance ensuring longer maintenance free performance. The shaft is made of EN grade material and is balanced independently without basket for higher accuracy.
BASKET
The Basket made from MS/SS sheet of adequate thickness to withstand the material load and centrifugal forces. The Basket is uniformly perforated and duly balanced. The Bottom of Basket is made up of Mild Steel and lined at the inner surface with SS or Rubber as required.
DRIVE
The Drive consists of Motor mounted at the Basket casing driven through V belt with provision of tensioning the Belts. The Centrifuges are fitted with Mechanical Clutch Pulley at the Motor Shaft.
BRAKE
The Centrifuge is fitted with external Shoe Brake with brake liners. The Brakes are heavy duty type designed to bring loaded basket to stop quickly.

The pneumatic cylinder will automatically get engaged with the lid as soon as basket starts rotating and gets disengaged only when it completely stops which will ensure that the lid can be opened only when the basket comes to a complete halt.
Proximity Sensor
Shall be provided as a safety interlock for the Lid / Body. Unless the Lid / Body is closed motor cannot start and once the lid is opened motor power cuts off.
Vibration Tripper
Will trip the Centrifuge during excessive vibration.
