Our anthracite filter media is crushed, screened, and washed to achieve consistent grading, making it ideal for municipal, industrial, and commercial water treatment applications.

This premium-grade anthracite is widely used as a top layer in multimedia filters, providing superior turbidity removal, longer filter runs, and reduced head loss.

Product Description Anthracite Filter Media is a lightweight, angular carbon-based material used primarily in gravity and pressure filtration systems. Due to its higher porosity and lower density compared to sand, anthracite allows deeper penetration of suspended solids, improving filtration efficiency and extending service cycles.

Starke's anthracite is processed to ensure uniform particle size distribution, high mechanical strength, and consistent performance in continuous filtration operations.

Supplied in accordance with IS, AWWA B100, ASTM, and EN standards.
