The media is crushed, washed, and precisely graded to ensure consistent performance in municipal, industrial, and commercial water treatment systems.

Anthracite filtration media is commonly used as the top layer in dual-media and multimedia filters, providing improved turbidity removal, longer filter runs, and reduced head loss.

Product Description Anthracite Filtration Media is a lightweight, angular, carbon-based filter material designed for gravity and pressure filtration. Compared to sand, anthracite has higher porosity and lower bulk density, allowing suspended solids to penetrate deeper into the filter bed. This results in higher dirt-holding capacity and extended service cycles.

Starke's anthracite media is processed under strict quality control to achieve uniform particle size distribution, low fines content, and high abrasion resistance, ensuring stable long-term filtration performance.
