Apixaban 5 mg is prescribed for the following medical conditions:

1. Prevention of Stroke and Systemic Embolism:

   • In patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation, Apixaban lowers the risk of stroke and embolic events caused by blood clots in the heart.

2. Treatment and Prevention of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Pulmonary Embolism (PE):
