Pheniramine Maleate Injection 2 ml contains Pheniramine, an antihistamine (anti-allergic drug) used to treat symptoms of allergic conditions such as drug rashes, hay fever, serum sickness, food allergy, allergic conjunctivitis, angioneurotic oedema (swelling under the skin) and itching skin conditions. Also, it is used to treat respiratory tract conditions accompanied by increased secretion including acute rhinitis and vasomotor rhinitis. It works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. Thus, it helps provide relief from allergy symptoms such as sneezing/runny nose, red/itchy/watery eyes, throat swelling, itchy throat, and congestion or stiffness. Additionally, Pheniramine Maleate Injection 2 ml is used to prevent and treat motion sickness, vomiting, nausea and vertigo (spinning sensation) due to Menière’s disease (inner ear disorder) and other labyrinthine disturbances.
