Cement Capsules

We hold expertise in offering a wide range of Cement Capsules to our clients. These capsules are used for grouting roof bolts in tunnels and mines. In this range, we mix sand, high alumina cements and some chemicals in suitable proportions. Moreover, these capsules are packed in perforated polythene pouches. Thick cement grout is generated by soaking these capsules in water.

The advantages of the Cement Capsules are:

• It is a chloride free powder and is safe to be used with steel
• The capsule is non-toxic and safe to use
• It eliminates pump grouting
• Saves cost and labor

Anchorage Test Result

Extensive field tests are continuously carried out in collieries using capsules. The average results are tabulated below:

• Effects of Temperature: The hardened grout is non-flammable and will provide satisfactory anchorage up to 200 degrees centigrade.
• Toxicity: The capsule is non-toxic. It does not produce any harmful gases during application.

Packing

Pragya FCC Capsules are supplied in double lined H. D. P. E. sacks or corrugated cardboard boxes each containing 50 nos.

The Standard Sizes available are: (diameter X length) 

35mm X 500mm,

32mm X 500mm,

32mm X 300mm,

32mm X 400mm,

25mm X 300mm,

25mm X 500mm.

We can supply most other lengths and/ or diameters as per individual requirement, kindly note that.

Storage

Unused Pragya FCC Capsules should always be kept in a dry place under double lined polythene cover to avoid exposure to atmosphere.

Shelf Life
 
Six months from the date of manufacture. Since the grout material is very sensitive to moisture.
