Water DI Single Chamber Air Valve, Size: 1 1/2" To 8"

The function of these air valve is to vent air from water pipelines. Our high performance air valves feature a single chamber, double orifice and triple function design. Primarily, the large venting orifice allows large volumes of air to be released on pump start up. The second function is to allow air to enter into the pipelines for the purpose of vaccum breaking on pump shut down. Thirdly, the small venting orifice allows air to be released during pump operation and under fluid pressure.
The construction of the valve body is heavy duty ductile iron with fusion bonded epoxy powder coating on the inside as well as the outside. and the float is made from stainless steel.
