EDC-HCL

EDC HCL or EDC hydrochloride is known as a coupling reagent. It can be also categorized as a carbodiimide. This compound is soluble in water and carboxyl activating. This is suited for amide bond formation in tetraaza macrocycles as well as oligonucleotides. EDC HCL or EDC hydrochloride is a viable component that is suited for the making of chloroanthraquinone hydrazides. This is also used to synthesize peptides and activate phosphate groups. This is needed to make immunoconjugates.
