FLASH GUN is the world's first electric torque wrench that can be used without a reaction arm. When used together with the HYTORC Washer or the HYTORC NUT drive, no reaction forces occur outside of the center of the bolt. By applying a coaxial drive, no influential, lateral bending forces occur. As a result, great gains are achieved in terms of accuracy and consistency in bolt force. When used in conjunction with the HYTORC NUT, the FLASH GUN can mechanically tension bolts torsion-free. The desired torque is then applied stroke-free, continuously rotating and very accurately.

Also, with the conventional manner, all bolt connections can be quickly loosened or tightened with a conventional reaction arm. With the development of the FLASH GUN the priority was to develop a tool with unprecedented compactness, ergonomic operation and a high maximum torque.
