Sample Extractors :
The sample extractor shown in this section meet the requirements of IS, BS, ASTM and AASHTO standards. Soil core specimens can be extracted from sampling tubes with minimum disturbance. Specimens of smaller diameter can also be extracted from larger size samples.
MTS-151 : Hand operated Extractor,
for 38m dia specimens For extracting soil core specimens of 38mm dia from sampling tube or from larger size samplers.

The outfit comprises one each :
  • MTS-151-01 : Sample Extractor Frame
  • Screw Type with a Wire Sample Trimmer.
  • MTS-151-02 : Jarring Link
  • for driving the Sampling Tube of 38mm dia.
  • MTS-151-03 : Adapter with locking screw
  • for fitting the 38mm dia Sampling Tube to Jarring Link.
  • MTS-151-04 : Split Mould, 38mm dia x 88mm long, provided with Quick Release
  • Clamps. It can be fitted to MTS-151-01 Sample Extractor.
  • MTS-151-05 : Split Mould
  • Same as MTS-151-04 but with length of 76mm.
  • MTS-151-06 : Sampling Tube
  • Unrelieved, 38mm dia x 200mm long, set of two.
