ibuprofen and paracetamolare used for the temporary relief of a wide range of mild to moderate pain and to reduce fever. They work in different ways to provide more effective pain relief than either medication alone.
How They Work
Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain, swelling, and inflammation by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers called prostaglandins.
Paracetamol (also known as acetaminophen) acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, primarily in the central nervous system, to relieve pain and lower high body temperature.
