Lenz Law Apparatus

The 30cm copper tube has a windowed groove down the side that permits observation of the descending magnet or slug. Observe the effects of eddy currents as the magnet oats downwards, apparently defying gravity. Supplied with metal slug and a similar sized magnet. The Lenz Law Apparatus allows you to demonstrate electric and magnetic forces. 2 identical-looking plugs are dropped through the copper pipe, but react very differently. As you watch them drop through the viewing window you will see 1 drop quickly and without resistance while the other moves slowly through the tube.
