Acimar Magaldrate and Simethicone Suspension USP, Medok, 170 Ml

Each 5 ml (or as per formulation) typically contains:

• Magaldrate — an antacid that neutralizes stomach acid

• Simethicone — an anti-foaming agent that helps reduce bloating and gas

• Magaldrate:
  Reacts with gastric acid to form magnesium chloride and aluminum hydroxide, which neutralize stomach acid, increasing gastric pH and relieving acidity, heartburn, and indigestion.

• Simethicone:
  Works by reducing surface tension of gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines, helping to break them up and allowing easier passage of gas, thus relieving bloating and discomfort.

• Relief of symptoms of acid indigestion, heartburn, gastritis, and hyperacidity

• Management of gas-related abdominal discomfort (flatulence, bloating)

• Used in conditions like gastritis, peptic ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) as supportive care

• Adults and children (as directed by physician) — generally, 5 to 10 ml after meals and at bedtime

• Shake well before use

• Do not exceed the recommended dose
