Applications:The instrument is designed for measuring the thickness of paint, galvanized layer, chrome layer, anodized layer, lacquer, epoxy, powder coatings, other electroplatings on ferrous substrates (iron, etc) and non-ferrous substrates (aluminum, etc).
Measuring Principle:This instrument has an integrated probe which uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to measure the thickness of non-magnetic coatings on magnetic substrates and eddy current principle to measure thickness of nonconductive coatings on non-magnetic substrates.
