PFA lined ball valve making machine

A Lined Ball Valve Making Machine is a specialized industrial machine designed for manufacturing corrosion-resistant ball valves by applying a seamless polymer lining such as PTFE, PFA, FEP, or PP to the internal surfaces of the valve body and ball. By combining the mechanical strength of metal components with the chemical resistance and non-stick properties of fluoropolymers, this machine produces high-performance valves suitable for chemical, pharmaceutical, and high-purity fluid applications.

1. Valve Body and Ball Preparation

   • Metal valve bodies and balls are cleaned, degreased, and mechanically prepped with grooves or anchor points to ensure strong polymer adhesion.

2. Mould Setup

   • The prepared valve components are positioned inside precision moulds designed to match the geometry of the ball and valve body.

3. Polymer Transfer / Injection

   • Pre-heated polymer (PTFE, PFA, FEP, or PP) is transferred or injected under hydraulic pressure into the mould cavity.

   • The polymer flows uniformly along all internal surfaces, forming a seamless and uniform lining.

4. Compression & Moulding

   • Hydraulic pressure ensures complete coverage of the internal surfaces and eliminates voids or air pockets.

5. Cooling & Solidification

   • The lined valve and ball are cooled under controlled conditions to solidify the polymer without shrinkage or stress cracks.

6. Demoulding & Finishing

   • The valve and ball are removed from the mould, excess material is trimmed, and the lining is inspected for thickness, uniformity, and adhesion.
