Merchant Pig Iron is sold as ferrous feedstock for metal and steel casting industries as a cold iron casted into ingots. The three forms of the merchant pig iron are:

• NODULAR PIG IRON is applicable in manufacturing of ductile well known as SG iron casting. It contains the 92% Fe as available in pig iron grade I and grade II, as grade I is used in steel plants.
• BASIC PIG IRON widely used in electric arc steel making.
• HAEMATITE PIG IRON widely applicable for manufacturing the grey iron casting in cupola furnaces and well known as Foundry Pig Iron.
