After satisfactory completion, trainees or graduates will be easily able to demonstratethe standard of competence required to undertake ship board duties as a ship cook on board amarine vessel/ship. They will also be able to understand basic rules for nutrition during shift work onboard a vessel/ship, recognized safety hazards in the galley and the prevention of food poison,mainly gained knowledge on provision and stock management, principle of environmental protectionand food budget management and administrations.
