Tacrotor 0.03% Ointment

Tacrotor 0.03% Ointment is used to treat atopic dermatitis (a skin condition that causes your skin to become dry, red, and itchy). This medicine works by preventing your immune system from producing certain chemical substances and helps in providing relief from the symptoms of atopic dermatitis. Tacrotor 0.03% Ointment may cause burning, itching, redness or tingling sensation at the application site. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen. Tacrotor 0.03% Ointment should be applied externally to the affected part of your skin as directed by your doctor. Continue using this medicine for the prescribed duration to avoid a flare-up of your symptoms. Tacrotor 0.03% Ointment should be avoided if you are allergic to it. This medicine in 0.1% strength is not recommended in children below 16 years of age and in 0.03% strength is not recommended in children below two years of age. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or are planning a pregnancy, consult your doctor before using this medication.
