A post graduate in Commerce, Mahendra Patil has done MMS (Finance) from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. He is also GARP (Global Association of Risk Professionals) certified Financial Risk Manager and has completed CFA – II (USA). He has overall experience of about 12 years in various fields including Credit Rating, Accounting, Banking, Finance and Sales.

Mahendra Patil has been in the Credit Rating Industry for 7 years and has worked on 500+ rating assignments from various industries ranging from Power, Steel, Shipping, Shipbuilding, Ports, Logistics, Real Estate, Roads, Power Transmission Structures, Retail, Tyres, etc.

As a Rating Analyst, Mahendra Patil has developed rating methodologies for Shipping and Real Estate sector. Besides, he has been a Sector Specialist in the Quality Control Team for Real Estate, Shipping, Shipbuilding, Ports and Logistics sectors. Mahendra Patil has also developed “CARE Real Estate Project Star Rating”, a product which is targeted towards Real Estate Sector with an aim to assess the real estate projects on timely execution and transparency parameters.

Prior to starting Xmpus, Mahendra Patil was a part of CARE’s Internal Rating Committee for sectors such as Auto, Power, Construction, IT, Paper & Paper products, Real Estate, Logistics and Wholesale & Retail trade.
